2 Chronicles 7:14 …if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and TURN FROM THEIR WICKED WAYS, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
By now, believers in the USA are very familiar with this verse. They are humbling themselves in prayer and seeking the face of the Lord. THE FINAL CONDITION for the healing of our land is to “turn from their wicked ways”. What might that mean?
One very “wicked way” which American believers HAVE ALLOWED TO GO PRACTICALLY UNCHECKED in our land is the abomination of child sacrifice or abortion. The National Right to Life estimates that an estimated 61,628,584 legal abortions have taken place as of January 2020. This November 3rd we can put severe limitations on legal abortion by voting for the candidate which is pro-life and against Roe vs. Wade, the 1973 Supreme Court decision which made abortion legal throughout the land.
BELIEVERS CAN TURN FROM THIS “WICKED WAY” BY VOTING for the presidential candidate who is nominating a God-fearing, anti-abortion woman judge to fill the Supreme Court vacancy left by the passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. It is said that many born-again believers in the US do not take part in presidential elections by voting. By not voting they are indirectly allowing the abomination of legal abortion to continue in our land. TO TURN AWAY FROM THIS “WICKED WAY” WE MUST VOTE IN THE UPCOMING ELECTION.
THAT IS THE FINAL CONDITION the Church must fulfill before God will “heal our land”.
