“The Lord is so very gracious to perform great things in the ministry He has so kindly entrusted to us. I am sharing with you one of these outstanding miracles.
For the past four years, a young Hindu man named Rupendra Ghee had suffered terribly. Very sick and weak, he went to see his doctor. An examination showed that Rupendra had a high blood sugar in addition to other problems which the doctor could not diagnose. He advised Rupendra to go to the city of Vishakahpatnam—around a nine-hour drive from his home—for more advanced treatment.
Rupendra was admitted to the hospital there in Vishakahpatnam where he was treated for one week. His condition a bit improved, Rupendra returned to his home in Orissa fifty kilometers from where we live in Bhawanipatna. But at home his condition worsened, forcing Rupendra to return to the hospital in Vishakahpatnam. But all to no avail, even after going back and forth to Vishakahpatnam for costly treatment a total of three times.
Finally, with his condition deteriorating, Rupendra had to be admitted to a private clinic in Bhawanipatna. There he underwent an endoscopy, a colonoscopy, and other tests including an ultrasound. But his doctor could not uncover the exact nature of Rupendra’s disease. His whole body pulsed with pain. He had uncontrolled severe diarrhea. For an entire week he stopped eating.
Working at the private clinic was a nurse who was one of our believers. She called me to inform me that Rupendra’s condition was very critical and, medically speaking, hopeless. The doctors there did not want to keep him in their clinic any longer. So she wanted to send Rupendra to our home for ministry, and after that, to send him home.
We were taken aback at the prospect of having to minister to someone in Rupendra’s hopeless condition. But we prayed and asked the Lord for more supernatural authority and power.
After Rupendra’s parents brought him to our home, he laid down on our floor. My wife Rosy and I then ministered to him again and again in the wondrous name of the Messiah Jesus.
With minutes we began to witness sudden changes in his body and his face. The constant pain throughout his body suddenly disappeared. We were amazed at the instant miraculous healing taking place before our very eyes. After a while Rupendra began to eat—something he had not done for a week.
We thank the Lord for such an extraordinary miracle.
Rupendra and his family were orthodox Hindus. After the astonishing miracle the family believed and accepted Jesus as their Lord and personal Savior (below).

We praise the Lord our God for the wonderful miracle He did for a family undergoing such a severe medical crisis.
Please continue to pray for us and for the ministry here in India.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. In the green link above there are posted approximately 2,900 reports of the miraculous similar to those at the top of this page. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted over 2,165 new house churches with over 72,000 new believers as of October 2025, reaching 50 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Conversion to Christianity and water baptism are illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
Mission Leaders, if we are available we are able to train your Third World harvest workers with The Elijah Challenge—at our own expense. We can do so using the zoom app.
