“Sritam (above) had been terribly tormented by a demon. His suffering had lasted seven to eight months. A feeling of physical sickness would overcome him for weeks at a time. But when he was examined by his doctor, the report would come back negative. After two months his condition deteriorated even further, and he began acting like a madman. He could no longer eat or sleep. Prescription medication from a doctor did nothing. Mantras performed by a sorcerer for him were in vain. Finally, our Elijah Challenge workers came and rebuked the demon in Jesus’ name, commanding it to come out of him. He was miraculously healed and set free from his prolonged torment. Sritam then accepted Jesus Christ as his only Lord and Savior.”

“Juli and her husband (below) had a son who was five years old. But due to some physical infirmity, since birth he had been unable to stand up and walk. They had taken the boy to the hospital for treatment on two separate occasions, but his deplorable condition remained. After that they totally lost hope that their son would ever walk, and stopped taking him to the hospital. In the meantime they heard about our Elijah Challenge workers and requested prayer from them for their boy. Over a period of a week they came and ministered to him with supernatural power and authority in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus. The boy began to get up and walk for the first time. “For three years, like the woman with the bleeding in Mark 5, Janaki (below) suffered from an issue of blood. Her doctor had prescribed medication for her, but after taking it for a long time the bleeding continued. Janaki then went to a specialist in ayurvedic medicine who gave her a different medicine to take. But her condition remained. After spending a considerable sum of money on various treatments with no results, her husband connected with our Elijah Challenge workers. They came and ministered to Janaki with supernatural authority and power in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus. Her bleeding stopped and Janaki was miraculously healed from the issue of blood. After that the family accepted Jesus Christ.”

“Elderly Sukta Bhatta (below) had suffered from arthritis for two years. She had taken medicine prescribed for her by her doctor for a long time, but she did not recover. She had also consulted with a local village doctor, but his treatment also failed to help her. Then she came to one of our Elijah Challenge house churches where our workers ministered to her in Jesus’ name. Sukta was then miraculously healed from the arthritis. After that she believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

“For three weeks a man named Gangadhar (below) suffered from severe pain due to a stomach infection. It was very difficult for him to sit. At the hospital he had been prescribed a drug to take, but the pain would not subside. The our Elijah Challenge workers ministered to him in the name of our Messiah Jesus. Gangadhar was then miraculously healed with the pain disappearing. After that he accepted Jesus Christ.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. These thousand reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four to five years.
Since 2018 our trained workers in and around Odisha have planted 1,755 new house churches with 65,730 new believers as of December 9, 2023, reaching 42 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
