William and Lucille Lau’s journey into the jungles of Indonesia is a daring experience. This young missionary couple braved some of the most unique and horrific territories when they took the gospel to Borneo and other parts of SouthEast Asia. These remote and resistant areas were plagued by witchcraft and manifested demons. In order to cast out an illness one would actually summon a witch doctor or sorcerer who would invite a demon to take over. Although the witchcraft seemed strong, in the end it was no match for the faith filled energy Brother Bill and Sister Lucille were about to unleash.

The full strength of the Holy Spirit was at work through them, although they came on the scene armed only with their faith and the Word of God. They tackled one sickness after another. By the power of the Holy Spirit, demoniacs were cleansed, sickness no longer had a hold on the bodies of its victims and the Lord set many endangered souls free. Free from illness, from strongholds, from torturous thoughts and dreams, and free to accept the Holy Spirit power.

With God, all things were possible, but not without its trials and challenges. A ministry was begun in their own home to teach discipleship the way Jesus taught his disciples. The full weight of the Elijah Challenge was in their hands. Even some of the Sorcerers reluctantly came to realize that God was now in control. The story of William and Lucille Lau is remarkable but intense, full of compassion, tears, and always glowing with the glory of the hope that is found in Jesus Christ.

As a Christian Film Producer, I’m excited to reveal my intentions of producing a future TV series based on this remarkable journey.

This is a fantastic book. It is amazing to see what Bill and his wife Lucille accomplished in their time in Indonesia. In spite of him having become a Christian only one year earlier and having no Bible school or training and almost no money or backing they left only with God’s direction to evangelize the people of that land of very primitive people that were bound by witch doctors and held in the grip of demons. The Laus got on-the-spot training only by the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. Their adventures in this book are so incredible that after you start seeing them overcoming the works of Darkness and bringing these precious people to the Light of Jesus, you won’t be able to put this book down. I promise you! They discovered the “secrets” of how to heal the sick and cast out demons and did it almost every day! He bares these secrets to us which are not really secrets at all but are extremely biblical and are out of the mouth of Jesus and serve as examples of how he did it so that it becomes easy to believe that we can do the same works that Jesus said we could (Jn. 14:12).

His book will empower you to rise to the understanding of what is available to you in Christ and do the same thing He did. If you want all that God has for you, get this book and read it a couple of times! Then go to his The Elijah Challenge web site to learn more about what they do and how you can learn to do the works of Christ..

I’ve known William and Lucille for at least 20 years – met them in one of their classes when they were in the US. They are down-to-earth, real people who have been given a very special gift.

I am 85 now and hosting their training classes in my senior apartments and soon to be in my (Baptist) church. So exciting !!!

Their book is amazing, and so are they.

This Book Really brings to life “God’s healing Power and Authority”, in the most remote/primitive Regions of Borneo.
Brother William and his Wife Lucielle journeyed and missioned through many uncertainties & less than desirable conditions. But one thing is certain They put their full Trust in the Lord and set out to follow Jesus!
There are Many testimonies where the “Act of the Holy Spirit moved/poured out over
Many who were sick ( i.e., with epilepsy, unclean spirits, unbelievers /Muslims)
were healed and set free /and many disciples were made.
Their movement has since led to many miraculous healings (in over 5O countries) in both Charismatic and Evangelical churches, many churches planted.

More than an autobiography this is also a guide on how to do mission work with healing and deliverance that opens the hearts of native people. Impressive how this young couple was able to spread the kingdom of God in the city they lived in and also to the surrounding smaller villages.

The book is well written, very interesting and hard to put down.
