It is increasingly apparent that we are now in the very Last Days. The dilemma we face is that there remain over two billion people in the Third World who have never heard the gospel. In Matthew 24:14 Jesus declared “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” The term “nations” includes People Groups. According to some missiologists, there are over 7,000 people groups in the world which are either totally or mostly untouched by the gospel.
How can such Unreached People Groups—typically very resistant to the gospel—be reached with the gospel during the short time which remains? The answer is below.
Jesus’ solemn promise in John 14:12 that believers would do “greater [miraculous] works” must be fulfilled.
.
We are now beginning to witness the fulfillment of Jesus’ incredible promise in John 14:12 above.
.
How?
.
New Testament Scripture teaches that supernatural authority is not affected by distance. In Luke 7 Jesus healed the servant of the centurion simply by “saying the word”, that is, by issuing an authoritative command at a distance.
Supernatural authority is also not affected by number. An army general with authority over 10,000 solders issues but a single command, and all 10,000 of his men immediately obey his command.
Therefore, authority is not affected by either distance or by number. Our focus is on supernatural authority over diseases and demons in the context of proclaiming the kingdom of God to those who never heard of Jesus Christ—supernatural authority which Jesus Christ has given to His disciples.
.
Luke 9.1 When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, 2 and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.
.
Years ago, a pastor in India whom we trained in the use of supernatural authority proclaimed the kingdom of God to a crowd of two million people in the state of Andra Pradesh. Approximately one million people raised their hands to accept Jesus Christ as a result of his preaching. After that the pastor ministered supernatural healing to the huge crowd at a distance from the stage by using authority in the wondrous name of our Messiah Jesus. Afterwards, up to a half million people raised their hands to indicate that they had been miraculously healed from their infirmities and set free.
.
The above is an instance of the “greater works” promised by Jesus.
.
Moreover, just as authority is not affected by number, it is also not affected by distance.
.
A few years ago during the recent pandemic, we preached the gospel of the kingdom to well over 1,000 people who had gathered together online using zoom. We were in Houston, Texas, and the people were mostly in Malaysia halfway around the world. Following the proclamation of the kingdom of God during this event, we ministered to people with physical infirmities who were present by rebuking the infirmities with supernatural authority and authoritatively commanding the people to be healed in the wondrous name of the coming Messiah Jesus. Some of the people online halfway around the world with physical infirmities were then miraculously healed. They then immediately testified online what the Lord had done for them. Approximately between 20 and 30 people testified during these three evangelistic online events.
.
After the testimonies of miraculous healing—providing irrefutable evidence of the truth of the gospel— people repented of their sins and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
.
The Lord is now restoring understanding of the supernatural authority He has entrusted to His disciples for us to do the “greater works”.
,
And at the same time He is graciously beginning to increase the extent and level of this supernatural authority entrusted to His disciples for the Great Commission to be fulfilled during these very Last Days.
.
Greater authority will of course result in “greater works”!

More to come…
