Last night we returned from one of our harvest fields known as Koraput. There we visited some remote places. We encouraged our believers and Elijah Challenge workers. We baptized new believers (click for photos). Thank the Lord for the fruitful work that is going on through our harvest workers.”

“For fifteen days a woman named Sulata Hial (above & below) suffered from fever and headache due to COVID-19. Prescription medication failed to reduce her symptoms. At times she even had vomiting causing her anxiety to build. Her husband finally contacted our Elijah Challenge workers, who came to their home and ministered healing to her in the wondrous name of Jesus Christ. Sulata was then miraculously healed. She and her husband then put their faith in Jesus as their only Lord and Savior.”

“Due to severe arthritis Kabita (below) was unable to walk. Even when she slept the pain would be nonstop. For months she had been confined to bed despite the various medications which she had been prescribed. When our Elijah Challenge workers came and ministered to her with authority in Jesus’ name, Kabita was healed. She was able to get up and walk. After the gospel was shared with her and her family, they accepted Jesus Christ.”

“Elderly Gouri (below) had stomach pain for four long years, at times severe. Her children had her admitted to a hospital for treatment, but the pain would not subside. After that they called for a sorcerer to come to the house. But he failed to help. Somehow her children then heard about our Elijah Challenge workers, and so contacted them. They went to their home and ministered to Gouri in Jesus’ name. The stomach pain finally subsided and Gouri was healed. Her family believed and accepted Jesus Christ.”

“Little Rani (below) fell while playing outside and broke his leg. He was admitted to the hospital where he was treated for 21 days while his leg was swathed in bandages. But the little boy did not recover. Afterwards he couldn’t walk normally. After receiving more treatment and more medication, Rani still could not run like before. Her parents were distraught for their little boy. Finally they summoned our Elijah Challenge workers to their home. They went and ministered to Rani over a period of two days. Little Rani was completely healed and able to walk and run as before. Both of his grateful parents accepted Jesus Christ after hearing the gospel from our workers.”

“A demon spirit was tormenting a young man named Phathani Sabar (below). Most of the time he would feel as if something was being injected into his body. At first he couldn’t understand what was happening and just took prescription medication from the hospital. But there was no relief for Phathani. Finally, after everything failed to relieve him of the pain he came to understand that it was the work of a demon spirit. Phathani summoned a sorcerer, but to no avail. Finally our Elijah Challenge workers came and rebuked the demon, commanding it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ. For a while Phathani screamed and shouted as the demon reacted. Then it left Phathani, and he was completely well. A thankful Phathani accepted Jesus Christ.”

The Elijah Challenge equips nameless harvest workers to reach resistant people groups fruitfully by training them to heal the sick miraculously and consistently as Jesus did and as he promised that believers would do (John 14:11-12)—as irrefutable evidence that Jesus is the Messiah and the only way to the One True God who created the heavens and the earth. In the green link above there are posted approximately 700 reports of the miraculous similar to those at the top of this page. These 700 reports (out of thousands of reports) were received from our workers during approximately the past four years.
Between 2018 and the end of 2021 our trained workers in and around Orissa have planted around 1,000 new house churches, reaching 38 previously unreached people groups, including high caste Hindu groups which are among the most resistant and difficult to reach. This is in the region of Orissa (Odisha) State alone, considered the poorest state in India where Fundamentalist Hinduism reigns. Water baptism is illegal. Up in North India our trained harvest workers are seeing similar harvests among the Hindus and Sikhs.
